Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Cuepop (“Cuepop”, “we”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website at cuepop.com and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. What Cuepop is

Cuepop is a platform where creators meet other creators and brands to collaborate or get hired. We provide the tools to post what you need, browse who's available, send pitches, match, and message. We are not a party to the arrangements, contracts, or work product between users. We don’t employ creators or brands, guarantee outcomes, or process payments.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Cuepop.
• You must provide accurate information about yourself and keep it current.
• You’re responsible for activity under your account — don’t share your login.
• Profiles go live the moment onboarding is complete. We moderate after the fact — content that violates these Terms can be hidden, edited, or removed at our discretion, and accounts that repeatedly violate them can be suspended or terminated.

3. Your content

You own the content you post — profile details, needs, pitches, messages, reviews. By posting it on Cuepop, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and share it on and through the Service (including on public profile pages and in search results). This licence ends when you remove the content or delete your account, except where we’re legally required to retain it or it’s been shared with another user who has relied on it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory, misleading, or infringing on others’ rights.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your skills or experience.
• Spam, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Use Cuepop to recruit for unsafe, exploitative, or clearly off-platform transactional work.
• Solicit payment outside the agreed terms of a collaboration without the other party's consent.
• Circumvent our review or reporting systems.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

5. Collaborations between users

When you accept a pitch and start working with another user, that arrangement is between you and them. Cuepop is not responsible for:

• The quality, timing, or delivery of any work.
• Payments, invoices, taxes, or disputes.
• Statements made in profiles or pitches.

We strongly recommend agreeing on scope, deliverables, timelines, and payment in writing before starting any paid work. Leave honest reviews after the collaboration so others benefit from your experience.

6. Reviews

Reviews must reflect real collaborations and be written in good faith. You may not write reviews for yourself, your employees, or in exchange for compensation. We may remove reviews that violate these rules.

7. Reports and moderation

You can report profiles or posts that violate these Terms. We review reports as quickly as we can and may take action including warning, suspending, or removing content or accounts. Our decisions are at our discretion.

8. Fees

Cuepop is currently free. Posting needs, browsing people, pitching, matching, and messaging remain free. We may introduce paid features in the future — you’ll be notified before any charge applies to you.

9. Intellectual property

The Cuepop name, logo, product design, and code are owned by Cuepop. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them outside the Service.

10. Third-party services

The Service uses third parties — notably Google (for authentication), Resend (for email), and our hosting provider. Your use of those integrations is also subject to their terms.

11. Termination

You can close your account any time by emailing hello@cuepop.com. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we need to for legal or safety reasons. Sections of these Terms that by their nature survive termination will survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limits of liability).

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee uptime, matches, outcomes, or any particular result. Use the Service at your own risk.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cuepopis not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to ₹1,000 or the amount you’ve paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of India, except where local consumer laws require otherwise.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes go live means you accept the new Terms.
